Firelight is an Indigenous-owned and Indigenous-led consultancy that has been providing community-driven research and technical support to Indigenous Nations and organizations across Turtle Island since 2010. Their core services include mapping & GIS, Indigenous-led environmental assessment, stewardship training, and livelihoods support. They also host the Indigenous Mapping Collective and its annual Indigenous Mapping Workshop, which has trained over 2,500 Indigenous mappers since 2014.
